Neocities
Soo... This is my very first blog post. It is currently 00:24 and I'm writing this first blog post because I can't sleep and everything keeps distracting me. So yeah😃. This whole thing is all very new to me and I am really curious what this medium has to offer. I hope to make some new friends, get some new hobbies and of course learn something new. This year's summer break I also started making a website. It was a place for me to empty my mind and for people to read those thoughts. That website was meant for people I knew that wanted to know a bit more about me. And even though I expanded the site tremendously I never ended up posting it or getting a domain name or anything. But eventually my laptop broke down and I lose the files and all of my progress. However, I now have a head start at this neocities thing. I don't know lots about the etiquette yet, or about things that are standard here, but that'll come later on. I'm really excited for this project though. Because it has already given me motivation to build up a more personal and focused online presence. Starting this website, or at least something like it, has been on my list for a long time. So now I'm really happy that I have started. Even though I've only started today, I already thought about my previous website idea and if I'd like to redo that. And I have decided to! This time I will share it with my friends of course. Right now I'm on Spring break, which means I have a lot of time on my hands. Luckily I found this to spend it on. The websites I have seen until now have literally amazed me. Not only the websites but the people too! I've been left speechless multiple times by the artworks of some and the way they combine it into their neocity. This community is absolutely amazing. I know my website looks a bit basic, but I'm only starting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I aspire to be like the websites I have seen already.
